What does it mean to be a featherless, two legged, linguistically conscious creature born between conception and death whose body will soon be the culinary delight or terrestrial worms? That is what science, philosophy and religion attempt to answer in it's own way. Every generation of the human species has to come to terms with questions like...How to live? How to love? How to deal with a challenge or castastrophe? How you are going to improve who you are? There are three fundamental questions to consider. One, what does it mean to be human? Two, what are the forms of love that constitute the best of our humanity? Love of truth, love of goodness, love of beauty. Three, how does community, tradition, heritage shape and mold our conceptions of who we are as human beings? When you listen to music, you have to be willing to smile when you didn't expect it, or cry when you had no sense of where your tears come from. That is in part what it means to wrestle with that question of what does it mean to be human? And then be willing to get out of your unique and singular skin and imagine what it is like to be in the skin of others. Others in every corner of the globe.

When you subtract the sleeping time, commuting time, working time and things you have to do each and every day of your life, most people don't have more than one to two hours a day to do what the like to do - and then, would they have the money to do it anyway?
There are ways however where anyone can learn how to 'own their life' simply by learning how others have done it and continue to do it regardless of special abilities or external circumstances.
